Advanced Trauma Life Support

BREMSS offers several Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) courses each year including 1-day Provider Hybrid courses, 1-day Refresher courses, and 1.5 day Instructor courses.

ATLS Provider

The ATLS Provider Course is for individuals that have never taken the ATLS course or their previous ATLS certification expired greater than 6 months from the course date.

ATLS Refresher

The ATLS Refresher course is for individuals that have a current ATLS card that is within six (6) months of expiration.

ATLS Instructor

The ATLS Instructor course is for physicians who are current in ATLS and have demonstrated instructor potential within the last 3 years. If you are interested in attending a future ATLS Instructor course at BREMSS please email bremss@uab.edu.
